The Rising Card is a total classic of magic. (To wit – a card is selected and shuffled back into the deck, and then reveals itself by slowly rising from the centre of the pack, with no visible means of propulsion!). It remains a popular and powerful plot probably because it’s one of the few classic card tricks that is inherently VISUAL. Your spectators get to watch as their card supernaturally climbs from the pack. For once the ‘moment’ of magic is directly experienced, rather than occurring invisibly.
