The Effect
The magician introduces a prediction bag and two cubes. An audience member selects one, signs it, and scrambles it. Both cubes are placed into a paper bag. The magician removes the unscrambled cube, leaving the signed, scrambled one inside. In a startling moment, the paper bag is crushed flat: the signed cube has completely vanished.

The magician opens the prediction bag to reveal a locked transparent box. Inside sits the audience’s signed, scrambled cube. After this impossible revelation, you can seamlessly transition into other routines, such as an instant solve or a pattern matching effect.

Alternative Presentation: You can also start with a scrambled cube already locked inside the transparent box. After making the audience’s signed cube vanish, the cube inside the box is revealed to be the very one they signed.
